About me
Pete discovered yoga in 2016 after saying he would never like yoga. This as someone who always enjoyed lifting weights for exercise. He started practicing with his then girlfriend. That relationship came to a close but his practice remained a constant in his life. Yoga was rewiring his mind and body, clearing negative thoughts and building strength in new ways. In 2017 Pete finished his 200 HR YTT under Renee Leblanc @ Yogaworks Back Bay, Boston. In 2021 he finished his 300 hr YTT @Lexington Power Yoga under Lorraine Shedoudi. Pete now finds yoga to be the perfect balance to weight training and life in general.
As an instructor in recovery, he is passionate about bringing yoga to every body. He became a yoga teacher because of the profound effects the practice had on his sobriety. He hopes that by sharing the practice with people, they may experience similar effects in their lives. Pete keeps his classes light and fun while using breathwork and taking time to settle into poses. Pete’s American Bulldog Gabe is usually nearby and pup pics take up most of the memory on his phone.
